Jenny Seagrove and Sara Crowe are to star in a new touring production of comedy hit Fallen Angels.
Written by Noel Coward, Fallen Angels is about best-friends Julia and Jane who are left alone when their husbands go away to play golf. A mutual long-ago-lover announces his intention to pay Julia and Jane an impromptu visit. All in a fluster, there’s clearly only one thing to do: hit the bottle! Or rather, pop open the Champagne!
As each successive glass of liquid courage is imbibed, tongues start to loosen, hidden jealousies surface, the claws come out, and all attempts at demure behaviour go out the window.
But it’s not until the unexpected early return of their golfing husbands that the women’s evening really hits its frenzied peak.
