Cody Johnson has released the emotive video for his Top 10 hit single ‘Dirt Cheap'.
The video received its broadcast premiere on CMT and on the Paramount Times Square Billboard in New York, following its online premiere on YouTube. Fans who watched the YouTube premiere were able to join a post watch party where they watched a behind the scenes conversation with Cody and director Dustin Haney about making the video.
‘Dirt Cheap' marks the fourth consecutive video that Johson has partnered with Dustin for. The video stars Red Steagall in the role of the farmer. Red is a highly regarded actor, poet and performer and a long-time friend of and mentor to Johnson. Josh Phillips, who wrote ‘Dirt Cheap' appears as one of the contractors trying to convince the farmer to sell his farm.
The second single from Johnson's latest album ‘Leather', ‘Dirt Cheap' is shaping up to be another huge hit for the star. Johnson continues his ‘Leather Tour', with shows scheduled until December.
