Cody Johnson shares new track ‘Hello Lonesome’ as ‘Banks Of The Trinity’ era takes shape

Cody Johnson is building momentum toward his next album with the release of ‘Hello Lonesome,' the second track unveiled from his forthcoming project ‘Banks Of The Trinity.' Penned by hit songwriters Jimmy Yeary, Seth Mosley and Matt Rogers, the new song leans into Johnson’s signature blend of traditional country storytelling and modern emotional weight, offering another glimpse at what’s shaping up to be one of the genre’s most anticipated releases of the year.

The upcoming album follows a remarkable run for Johnson, whose 2024 record ‘Leather' took home CMA Album of the Year and further cemented his place among country’s elite. His current single ‘The Fall' is already climbing the charts, sitting inside the Top 5 this week.

Fresh off massive headline appearances at RodeoHouston and Stagecoach, Johnson’s live presence remains just as formidable. This week, he joins George Strait for a landmark in-the-round show at Memorial Stadium in Clemson, South Carolina—the venue’s first concert since 1999. From there, his headline tour resumes with added dates in multiple cities due to overwhelming demand, underlining his growing draw as one of country music’s biggest ticket sellers.

As anticipation builds for ‘Banks Of The Trinity,' Johnson heads into the 61st Academy of Country Music Awards with four major nominations, including Entertainer of the Year. Pre-order the new album right here.
