Rising country artist Jenna Paulette is offering fans a glimpse of her next musical chapter with the release of her new single ‘Steady,' out now on Leo33. The track, co-written with Rhett Akins and Will Bundy and produced by Bundy, blends heartfelt storytelling with an uplifting sound, celebrating the quiet strength of a dependable partner.
Inspired by a moment on the ranch with her husband, Paulette turned a simple observation into the song’s central metaphor. “Ross and I were working cattle one day and I looked over at him, his handle on his horse looked so light and good, and I thought, ‘he holds my hand like he holds the reins…steady,’” Paulette shared. Originally envisioned as a slower ballad, the song evolved into a more energetic arrangement featuring soaring steel guitar, highlighting its anthemic core.
The release of ‘Steady' arrives as Paulette celebrates another milestone: the one-year anniversary of her CowboyGirl women’s range wear collection in partnership with Ely Cattleman. On September 15, she will launch the brand’s fall line, which introduces fresh seasonal colours, a plaid option, and a new Little CowboyGirl collection designed for mothers and daughters.
Balancing new music, fashion, and family life, Paulette says she feels momentum building. “I feel like I’m getting into the groove of motherhood while being a touring musician, things are picking up in all aspects of my life. It’s feeling more like a moving train that I’m riding. It’s picking up speed—I’m excited for the momentum of it all, with the way the music and CowboyGirl work together.”
CowboyGirl’s fall collection will feature both seasonal shades and classic solids, offering versatile options for everything from nights out to rodeo competition. The line will be available at select retailers and online at elycattleman.com.
