Bradley and Barney Walsh are returning to ITV for a seventh series of their hit show ‘Breaking Dad'.
In the brand-new six-part series, the father and son duo head down under for an epic Australian adventure. Bradley and Barney will take in the vast wilderness and coastal thrills of Australia and, as ever, Bradley won’t be getting the rest and relaxation he’s dreaming of. Barney has planned a packed itinerary full of adrenaline-rushing challenges designed to push his dad to the limit across the Australian outback and beyond.
Bradley said: “It’s so good to be back on the road again with Barney. We really do have the best time but I’m not quite sure what he has up his sleeve on this trip, which is slightly worrying… I was looking forward to a bit of sunshine and maybe a nice barbecue but knowing Barney, I’ll be dodging great whites or jumping out of a plane before breakfast.”
Barney said: “I’m excited to embark on this new adventure with my dad and get him to experience the incredible culture, local activities and landscapes of Australia. It’s going to be an exciting and adrenaline-fuelled road trip with lots of fun and laughter. Australia is such an iconic destination with so much to offer – I can’t wait to see us both get stuck in Down Under!”
Sue Murphy, Director of Factual Entertainment Commissioning ITV said: “We're thrilled that our very own father and son dynamic duo are back on the road, this time unleashing their inimitable charm onto unsuspecting Australia, as Barney continues to push Brad way beyond his comfort zones.”
Dan Baldwin, Managing Director at Hungry Bear Media said: “Bradley and Barney are not just back, they're ‘outback’, as the boys drive the vast terrain of Australia. This series is one of the best yet. Breaking Dad brilliantly captures the messy, hilarious, and heartwarming reality of family travel. It’s a genuine reminder that the best part of any journey is who you’re sharing the driver’s seat with.”
B'radley & Barney Walsh: Breaking Dad' series 7 is commissioned for ITV1 and ITVX by Sue Murphy, Director of Factual Entertainment Commissioning ITV. The series is produced by Hungry Bear Media and the series editor is Reshmi Bajnath.
