James Morrison will release sixth studio album ‘Fight Another Day' on 3rd October 2025.
The album announcement arrives with the title track, and the collection is Morrison's first all-new record in six years. Morrison will support the album with four headline dates in Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester and London this September.
Available to pre-order now, ‘Fight Another Day' presents the heightened emotions and struggles that Morrison has experienced and then captured in his songwriting. It is an album born of difficult times and heavy emotions but one that, ultimately, leans into the light and joy and hope.
Morrison says, “When I leaned into how I was feeling, that's when the songs started coming. I started writing about what I was going through. My own struggles with myself. Every day being a bit of a battle. Trying to eke the light out after what felt like darkness for ages. I'm really proud of the album in terms of the creative, sonic elements and how I dealt with truthful stuff. But also it's an album of songs that hopefully make you feel better and make you nod your head and stamp your feet and singalong.”
‘Fight Another Day' is co-produced by Morrison and his collaborators on the record include Eg White, Daniel Merriweather, Connor Reeves and Andy Platt (Young Gun Silver Fox). Exclusive to the James Morrison store: signed coloured vinyl, signed CD, and cassette are available for pre-order.
Fans who pre-order the album will receive access to a pre-sale for tickets for James’s September UK headline shows. The pre-sale will open at 10am on Wednesday 4th June and will be live until remaining tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday 6th June. The shows are:
