BST Hyde Park is in full swing once again, with a line-up packed full of stars from every genre of music.
This year's headliners so far have included Morgan Wallen, Shania Twain, SZA, Kings Of Leon, Robbie Williams and Andrea Bocelli – with Stevie Nicks, Kylie Minogue and Stray Kids still to come. But even further down the bill there's still a slew of incredible artists playing on the main Great Oak Stage as well as smaller stages around the site.
We've been lucky enough to attend two days of the festival so far – you can read all our coverage here – and were back there yesterday for Shania Twain's headline set. Whilst we were there, we also made sure to check out some of the other performers…
Natalie Imbruglia
Opening things up on the main stage was 90s icon Natalie Imbruglia, who played songs from her back catalogue including ‘Shiver' and ‘Smoke' alongside new material such as the disco-influenced ‘Habit' which had the crowd clapping along. She finished up with the one-two punch of the anthemic classic ‘Torn', which drew huge cheers before the audience belted out the lyrics with her, and a dramatic rock-influenced version of ‘Big Mistake'. The perfect way to kick off an afternoon of brilliant music!
Elle King
Making the return trip to the UK after her performance at C2C in March, Elle King brought a touch of rock and plenty of swagger to BST. Her set drew on songs from across her career, from the lively ‘Tulsa' and tongue-in-cheek ‘Out Yonder' from last year's album ‘Come Get Your Wife' to the rollicking ‘Exes and Ohs' and ‘America's Sweetheart' which she delivered with a defiance that demanded to be shouted across Hyde Park! That said, there was also space for more subdued numbers like the heartfelt ‘Lucky' which she dedicated to her son, as well as a punchy take on Tom Petty and Stevie Nicks' ‘Stop Dragging My Heart Around'. She had absolutely bundles of energy throughout and her vocals were much improved from her C2C set, delivering a real boost for the rest of the day – just as the sun came out too!
Anne-Marie
If you wanted drama, then look no further than the opening of Anne-Marie's BST set. Her powerful performance of ‘Alarm' kicked things off, before she switched things up with the bouncy ‘Birthday' and a crowd singalong to the nostalgic ‘2002' – all whilst cracking jokes and wearing the most amazing full leopard print outfit. I also loved the kiss-off new song ‘Keep On Crying', as well as her absolutely stunning acapella opening to ‘Rockabye', her collaboration with Clean Bandit and her rave mashup of ‘Around The World' and ‘Rhythm Of The Night' with her own take on ‘Baby Don't Hurt Me'. She closed with a dramatic rendition of ‘Psycho' which saw her playing the piano before stalking about the stage amid bursts of fire. (Also, shout out to her absolutely brilliant dancers!)
The Corrs
Last but not least before Shania took to the stage were sibling quartet The Corrs. With incredible musicianship and beautiful harmonies throughout, they delivered wall-to-wall bangers from start to finish, flashing up the music videos from their original hits on the big screen behind them. The crowd sang along to every word – with Andrea looking particularly overwhelmed as they basically took over performing ‘Runaway' for her – and there was room in the set for everything from upbeat tracks like ‘Give Me A Reason', ‘So Young' and ‘Never Loved You Anyway' to soaring ballads such as ‘Only When I Sleep', ‘Forgiven Not Forgotten' (featuring a gorgeous violin solo from Sharon) and ‘Dreams'. Andrea also showed her vocal chops with a huge note on ‘What Can I Do' before going into fan favourite ‘Breathless', which had the whole audience jumping up and down. It was one of my favourite sets of the day and showed that they've definitely still got it – I'd highly recommend going to see them on their upcoming tour if you were a fan back in the day.
