Carly Pearce expands ‘hummingbird’ era with deluxe ‘hummingbird: no rain, no flowers’

GRAMMY, CMA, and ACM Award-winning country star Carly Pearce is set to release ‘hummingbird: no rain, no flowers,' a deluxe edition of her critically acclaimed fourth studio album, on March 14 via Big Machine Records. This expanded version adds five new tracks, including the brand-new song ‘no rain,' which was released today. Currently on her headline hummingbird world tour, Pearce debuted ‘no rain' live in London last night as a thank-you to fans for two sold-out shows. Watch an exclusive clip below:

‘no rain' finds Pearce in a reflective and optimistic state, embracing forward motion and growth. Featuring clean guitar tones and delicate string arrangements, the song allows Pearce’s vocals to soar as she processes life's challenges. Its message aligns with the theme of the album—without rain, flowers cannot bloom.

Co-produced by Pearce, ‘hummingbird: no rain, no flowers' continues her era of personal and artistic evolution through authentic storytelling and a commitment to traditional country sounds. Alongside the original 14 tracks—including the GRAMMY-nominated lead single “we don’t fight anymore” featuring Chris Stapleton and the current US and UK singles “truck on fire” and “oklahoma”—the deluxe edition introduces three never-before-heard songs: ‘if looks could kill,' ‘heart first' and ‘no rain.' The album also includes new acoustic versions of ‘oklahoma' and ‘things i don’t chase,' recorded for Vevo.

‘hummingbird' has earned widespread critical acclaim, with Billboard naming it one of the “Top 50 Best Albums of 2024.” Other outlets have praised Pearce’s craftsmanship, storytelling, and vocal prowess, with Rolling Stone calling the album “masterful” and The New York Times lauding her as a “country star with a flair for good, old-fashioned craftsmanship.”

Pearce is currently on her hummingbird world tour, playing to audiences across the globe. Presented by Conundrum Wines, the tour features a special limited-edition wine label adorned with wildflowers and a hummingbird, reflecting the themes of renewal and healing central to Pearce’s journey. The tour also showcases her most elaborate stage design yet, featuring a dreamlike natural landscape with wooden accents and vibrant floral elements.

The tour continues with a sold-out run of UK and Ireland shows before returning to the United States for performances in cities like Milwaukee, Columbus, Indianapolis, Houston, Tulsa, and Phoenix. It will conclude on May 16, 2025, in Nashville, TN. Supporting acts on select dates include Karley Scott Collins, Matt Lang, Jess Moskaluke, Wade Bowen, Carter Faith, Mae Estes, and Tigirlily Gold.
