Kameron Marlowe unveils new album ‘Sad Songs For The Soul’

Kameron Marlowe is set to release his highly anticipated project ‘Sad Songs For The Soul' on February 21. This deeply emotional album, produced by Ben West, features 10 tracks designed to create a cathartic experience for listeners as it delves into the complexities of heartbreak. Fans can pre-save the album here.

“I’ve had these songs for a while now, but I was never sure if I wanted to actually release them all,” Marlowe shared. “I kept coming back to the idea of doing a concept record of only sad songs but was honestly nervous that it might be too different from what fans are used to hearing from me. I wanted to push the boundaries a little and put out an unexpected, soulful, stripped project full of heartbreak at all stages in life. Ben West produced the project, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with how it turned out. You can really feel the pain behind each song, and I hope fans enjoy this new side.”

Early Preview with ‘Hello Whiskey'

To give fans a taste of the upcoming album, Marlowe has released the track “Hello Whiskey” today. Featuring stripped-down production and raw, emotional vocals, the song captures the struggle of trying to numb heartbreak with whiskey.

“I wrote ‘Hello Whiskey’ with Kendell Marvel and Phil O’Donnell,” Marlowe explained. “We wanted to write a classic heartbreak song that talks about what it feels like when you’re trying your hardest to move on, but you truly cannot get over someone. The melody is a little unexpected, but I think that’s what makes this song special.”

Fans can listen to ‘Hello Whiskey' here.
