Kip Moore announces expansive new album ‘Solitary Tracks’

Country star Kip Moore is set to push boundaries once again with the release of his sixth studio album, Solitary Tracks, on February 28, via Virgin Music Group. This ambitious project spans 23 songs across four sides, offering a deeply resonant and introspective journey that highlights Moore’s unyielding artistic vision. The album reflects his drive to explore new horizons, both musically and personally. Pre-orders here.

Ahead of the release, Moore has unveiled the soulful new single ‘Bad Spot,' accompanied by its official video debuting today at 4 PM GMT. A piano-driven ballad, the track showcases a raw and reflective side of Moore as he wrestles with growth and self-awareness. “I’m never going to cheat by writing what I think people want to hear or cling to a sound that worked before,” Moore explained. “This project is a journey, and I hope it helps people navigate their own lives.”

‘Solitary Tracks' arrives after a year of momentum-building singles, including ‘Live Here to Work,' which Rolling Stone named a “Song You Need to Know,” and the heartfelt ‘Flowers in December.' Co-produced by Moore alongside Jaren Johnston, with additional contributions from Oscar Charles and Jay Joyce, the album captures Moore’s blend of grit, soul, and introspection. Divided into two parts, the project offers a narrative arc—from self-discovery to renewal—delivered with Moore’s signature authenticity and evocative storytelling.

A Global Footprint and World Tour

With an international fanbase spanning continents, Kip Moore continues to solidify his place as a global force in country music. Recently honored with the 2024 CMA International Artist Achievement Award, Moore’s ability to connect with audiences from New Zealand to the Netherlands is unmatched. “There’s no pattern you have to follow,” Moore said. “Sometimes, you’ve just got to gamble on yourself.”

This spring, Moore will embark on the first leg of his Solitary Tracks World Tour, visiting Sweden, Norway, Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and the UK. Tickets and VIP packages are on sale now through his official website.
