Maluma surprised fans earlier this week with the announcement that his new studio album ‘Loco x Volver' will be released on 15th May 2026.
The news arrives as the Colombian superstar celebrates ‘1+1', his collaboration with Kany García, hitting number one on Billboard's Latin Airplay and Tropical Airplay charts. Maluma unveiled the release through his social media platforms with an emotional video that is already gaining significant traction among his millions of followers around the world:
‘Loco x Volver' promises to be the most intimate and honest album of Maluma's career. ‘Loco x Volver' is born from the sounds that have accompanied Maluma throughout his life, a deeply personal musical journey that blends genres, emotions and high-caliber collaborations. The album reflects the artistic evolution of an artist who, over more than a decade, has cemented his place as one of the most influential voices in global Latin pop.
Alongside ‘1+1', the album also features the singles ‘Botero' featuring Arcángel and NTG, ‘Pa la seca' with Ryan Castro and ‘Con el corazón', a song recorded alongside the recently deceased Yeison Jiménez, in what becomes a heartfelt tribute to his legacy and to the friendship they shared.
‘Loco x Volver' is the follow-up to 2023's ‘Don Juan', Maluma's sixth album, which featured ‘La Fórmula' with Marc Anthony, ‘La Reina', ‘Diablo, Que Chimba' alongside Anuel AA, ‘Coco Loco' and the #1 hit song “Según Quién” with Carin León.
Outside of music Maluma continues to reinvent himself strengthening his role as creative director of his lifestyle brand Remanence, leading fashion, sports, and wellness activations across Colombia. He has also expanded successfully into acting, design, and business, staying true to his mission of empowering new generations and promoting an authentic, conscious lifestyle.
