Rising country artist Karley Scott Collins is embracing vulnerability in her latest release, ‘Runner,' now available on all streaming platforms.
Co-written with Sam Backoff, Zane Callister, and Ashley Ray, the piano-driven ballad tells a deeply personal story of heartbreak and emotional scars left behind when love is lost.
“I wrote ‘Runner’ about my first heartbreak,” Collins shared. “They always say the first cut is the deepest, and it really was for me. It took me seven years to figure out how to write this song. It’s about how, when someone hurts you so deeply, you start looking for the worst parts of them in everyone else you try to love in the future.”
On Tour with Keith Urban & Grand Ole Opry Debut
Recently named an Artist to Watch by Nashville Briefing, Collins is set for a major career milestone as she joins Keith Urban’s 2025 HIGH AND ALIVE TOUR as an opener. The tour kicks off May 22 in Orange Beach, AL, and will span 40+ dates across the U.S. and Canada.
Before hitting the road with Urban, Collins took the legendary stage at the Grand Ole Opry on Saturday night and will perform at the Tortuga Music Festival in April.
