Rising country artist Karley Scott Collins has unveiled ‘Easy to Leave,' the latest preview from her upcoming debut album ‘Flight Risk,' set for release on September 26. The new track, available now, offers fans a raw, emotional glimpse into the stories that shape the full project.
“‘Easy to Leave’ is a song I wrote with my co-producer Nathan Chapman and Aaron Zuckerman on the same day that I ended a relationship,” Collins shared. “I really liked him, and it was a breakup that I probably would have been really sad about, but by the end of it he sucked so bad and did so many things wrong that he made it so easy to walk away.”
Known for her candid songwriting and distinctive voice, Collins brings a deeply personal touch to ‘Flight Risk.' The album includes previously released tracks like ‘Cowboy Sh!t,' ‘Quit You,' and ‘American Boy.' Collins co-produced the album with Grammy Award-winner Nathan Chapman, with the pair playing nearly every instrument themselves. During the recording process, Collins expanded her skill set by learning banjo, violin, bass, and even studio engineering to ensure that every element of the record reflected her artistic vision.
At just 25, Collins delivers lyrics filled with the wisdom of a life lived with intensity and purpose, exploring themes of heartbreak, independence, and growth.
Currently, Collins is on the road with Keith Urban as part of his HIGH AND ALIVE TOUR, performing across the U.S. and Canada through October. Named a Nashville Briefing Artist to Watch and a CMT Next Woman of Country, she continues to build momentum with every release.
