Charlie Hole releases new EP Dirty Little Secret on 30th October 2015.
The 22-year-old, who has been hailed as a new emerging musical talent by the legendary Rod Stewart, caught the eye of songwriter Andy Hill. After a random meeting with producer Jim Cregan, Charlie released his first collection of original songs The Joy of a Caged Bird as a teenager.
Aged 18 Charlie secured a publishing deal with Rondor/Universal. This month Charlie will release 5-track EP Dirty Little Secret and the title track was inspired by recent heavyweight political news about whistleblowing.
As Charlie explains: ā…the song was inspired by people like Ed Snowden and Julian Assange, who have both given up profound personal freedoms in pursuit of the truth. One of the important questions of our time is how much of our civil liberties we are willing to give up in return for our safety. The Dirty Little Secret is that theyāre already being taken from us…ā
