The multi-BAFTA-winning hit A League of Their Own is heading from screen to stage for the very first time this September, as A League of Their Own Live embarks on a nationwide UK arena tour.
Set to visit major cities including Liverpool, Manchester, London, Newcastle, Birmingham and Glasgow, the live show promises to deliver the same mix of outrageous challenges, big laughs and unpredictable moments that have made the series a fan favourite for over a decade.
The tour will be hosted by football icon Jamie Redknapp, a long-time staple of the show, with team captains Jill Scott leading the blue team and Tony Bellew heading up the red team. Comedian Tom Davis will also join the action, bringing his trademark humour and competitive edge to the arena stage.
Fans can also expect appearances from Patrice Evra and Maisie Adam, with more special guests still to be announced. Each show will feature a rotating lineup, ensuring no two nights are exactly the same.
Speaking about the tour, Redknapp shared his excitement about taking the show on the road, promising a loud, chaotic and entertaining experience packed with familiar jokes, competitive energy and plenty of surprises.
The live format reimagines the beloved TV show for a large-scale arena audience, bringing its signature blend of sport and comedy to life in a brand-new way. Since its launch in 2010, A League of Their Own has become one of the UK’s most successful entertainment programmes, spanning 20 series and featuring an array of high-profile guests from across sport, music and film.
