Olly Murs has released new single ‘Run This Town', the latest preview for his upcoming album ‘Knees Up' released on 21st November 2025 via BMG.
The new single arrives as Murs announces that he will play a very special, intimate show at London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town on 8th December 2025. Take a listen to ‘Run This Town' below:
Produced by Mark Taylor, co-written with Sam Preston (The Ordinary Boys) and recorded at Metrophonic Studios, ‘Run This Town' is an infectious ska inspired pop anthem. An earworm of a track, packed to the brim with hooks and draped in horns, ’Run This Town’ is made for a skank on the dancefloor.
“This song’s been with me since my first album back in 2010. I’ve always loved it, but it never quite found the right moment… until now,” Olly says of the track. “It’s got that Madness-style energy that I’ve always wanted to tap into. When I started working on the ‘Knees Up’ album late last year with the style of songs I was writing it finally felt like the right time to bring it to life and add it to the mix. I’ve wanted to release this one for years and now it’s time!”
‘Knees Up' will be available on transparent green vinyl, standard CD, Deluxe CD, which comes with four additional live tracks (‘Troublemaker,’ ‘Heart Skips A Beat,’ ‘Save Me,’ and ‘Dance With Me Tonight’), and Lanyard CD, available only to fans who pre-ordered the album at Murs’ summer live shows, as well as an exclusive signed version available from Amazon.
