John Legend has announced his 12-date US ‘A John Legend Christmas' tour, which will take place this December.
The run will begin on 2nd December 2024 in Highland, CA. Legend will perform in Los Angeles, CA; Seattle, WA; Portland, OR, Atlanta, GA; and Atlantic City, NJ before wrapping in Hanover, MD on 21st December.
“My hope for these shows is that they feel like a gathering of friends by the fireside—where the music brings warmth, joy, and a sense of togetherness,” said Legend. Over the years, I’ve experienced the holidays in so many ways, and each version of me—from my childhood to now as a father—has shaped the way I approach this season. I want to share that journey with the audience, through songs and stories that celebrate both the festive spirit and the moments that bring us closer. I hope people leave feeling like they’ve been part of something warm, familiar, and special.”
Legend will perform alongside a four-piece band and he will deliver holiday classics from his ‘A Legendary Christmas' album, including ‘This Christmas', ‘Baby, It's Cold Outside', ‘Silver Bells', ‘Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas' and ‘The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire)'.
The evening will also feature Legend’s signature storytelling, providing audiences with an intimate experience as he reflects on his career, life, and the stories behind the music.
The tour announcement follows the recent release of Legend’s latest studio album, ‘My Favourite Dream', an album of sing-alongs and lullabies for children and families. Legend, who is gearing up to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his double-platinum 2004 debut album ‘Get Lifted', is currently touring with his solo piano show, ‘An Evening with John Legend: A Night of Songs and Stories'.
