Jade Thirlwall has officially stepped out of the shadow of her former band Little Mix, with a storming performance of her debut solo single ‘Angel of My Dreams' at The BRIT Awards 2025.
The singer who launched herself as a solo star last year, the last of the Little Mix members to do so, picked up ‘Best Pop Act' during Saturday night's awards. She won that award before taking to the stage for her performance, which can only be described as epic. Watch it below:
With elaborate staging and a five act performance, Jade started dressed as a bride before dropping through a ceiling and emerging as a platinum-haired diva. Over the course of the performance she mashed in a little bit of her recent release ‘IT Girl' and ended the spectacle by being lifted into the air as an angel.
Showcasing her incredible vocals as well as her dance moves, Jade proved that she's the member of Little Mix most likely to break out as a solo star. Her performance was easily the night's best and aside from Sabrina Carpenter's, it's the only performance that was very memorable.
While Jade is yet to match the Top 10 success of ‘Angel of My Dreams', and she's not announced an album, the signs are looking positive for her. If she keeps delivering pop on this grand a scale, she should become one of the UK's best popstars with relative ease.
