Signature Entertainment has released the trailer for ‘Unicorns', which will arrive in UK cinemas this summer.
The film, which has its world premiere at last year’s Toronto Film Festival and it’s UK premiere at the BFI London Film Festival, is co-directed by Sally El Hosaini (‘Swimmers') and James Krishna Floyd. It stars Ben Hardy (‘Bohemian Rhapsody') and Jason Patel, in his feature film debut.
‘Unicorns' is a cross-cultural romance about a single father from Essex who works as a mechanic and a British Indian drag queen living a double life. When their paths collide, an emotional search for identity is sparked.
In the trailer Hardy's character is seen kissing Patel's drag queen and moments later realising he's kissed a man. What follows in the trailer promises a journey of self-discovery as Hardy's character wrestles over his feelings for another man.
