Is it time for Chelsea to leave ‘Neighbours’?

Over the years ‘Neighbours’ has introduced many a despicable character but few have ruffled as many feathers as Chelsea Murphy (Viva Bianca).

Since arriving on Ramsay Street, the sister of new character Cara (Sara West) has plotted and manipulated her way into the affections of Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis), worming her way into a senior position at Lassiter’s. Of the many horrendous things she’s done so far on the show, by far her worst was locking Krista (Majella Davis) in a roasting hot sauna causing her to pass out and lose her unborn baby.

Having finally repaired his relationship with son Leo (Tim Kano), and realised he was wrong about Krista all this time, it looks like Paul might be forgiven for his part in David’s (Takaya Honda) death. In the episodes airing at the moment, Paul is hell-bent on finding out who is responsible for what happened to Krista but Chelsea is doing her best to throw him off the scent.

There’s no denying that actress Viva Blanca has been doing a superb job since joining the show. Given she’s the sister of a major character, there’s the opportunity for her to keep popping up should she ever leave. At the moment though, fans are divided about Chelsea with many desperate for her to be caught out (plus it looks like Haz is going to be the new villain). Is it time for her to leave?

When will Chelsea be found out?

This is the number one question fans of the show have right now. Chelsea’s grip on Paul seems to be loosening as he overcomes his grief about David. That’s meant that Paul has started to trust Krista with more responsibility, diminishing the role Chelsea manipulated for herself in the meantime. Chelsea is desperate to pin what happened to Krista on disgruntled ex-employee Penny. How much longer can she lie before someone catches her out?

Is Chelsea going to trap Paul by getting pregnant?

She’s trying her hardest to keep her hooks into Paul but a pregnancy test during a recent episode showed that she wasn’t pregnant. Fearing that Paul’s about to cut her loose, Chelsea has been doing everything she can to get Paul into the bedroom. Thankfully, her impromptu proposal of marriage was refused but we reckon she’s got more tricks up her sleeve.

Could Terese be the person to take Chelsea down?

There’s been no love lost between Terese (Rebekah Elmaloglou) and Chelsea. Terese’s current marriage breakdown with Toadie (Ryan Moloney) seems to be paving the way for a romantic reunion with Paul, which Chelsea is panicking about. Terese seems to be the only person on Ramsay Street who suspects that Chelsea is up to no good and she is sure it was Chelsea that threw out her late son’s plaque from Lassiter’s. It’s about time Terese had a win isn’t it?
