Fans have been speculating about the future of Mackenzie (Georgie Stone) and Haz (Shiv Palekar) as a new storyline has seen the lovebirds get engaged and announce that they're moving to Paris.

Following Mack's brush with death during the ‘Death in the Outback' week, she blurted out that she wanted to marry Haz after waking up in hospital. Both Mack and Haz tried to ignore what had happened but the two eventually had an honest conversation. Now they're fast-tracking their wedding before they leave for Paris.
It has been confirmed by ‘Neighbours' that the characters will be saying goodbye to Ramsay Street. The couple will tie the knot in Tuesday 17th September’s episode and this will be the final episode for the two characters as series regulars. The newlyweds will then head off to Paris for the next chapter of their lives.
Talking about leaving the show Georgie Stone says, “As cliche as it sounds, I will miss the people the most. I have met so many lifelong friends on that set, and I will miss seeing them all every day. It is a very special place. I will also miss Mackenzie – I was 19 when I first played her, and it was such a pleasure to play her the last 5 years.”
Shiv Palekar adds, “I'll miss everything, the wonderful cast, the incredible crew, the great storylines. The early starts, the late finishes, literally everything – I wouldn't take anything back or change anything. It's been such a wonderful experience and I'll miss all of it. I'll especially miss the sharehouse gang – we really got close during filming, and it hurt to say goodbye.”
