‘Mean Girls’ is in cinemas from today and the film is surrounded by plenty of buzz.
The original film was released in cinemas in 2004 with Lindsay Lohan in the lead role of Cady Heron, but this new film is an adaptation of the hugely successful stage musical. Angourie Rice is taking on the role of Cady Heron opposite actress and singer ReneƩ Rapp, who starred in the show on Broadway, as leader of The Plastics Regina George.
The cast also includes Chris Briney as Aaron Samuels, Avantika as Karen Shetty, Bebe Wood as Gretchen Wieners, Jaquel Spivey as Damian Hubbard and Auli’i Cravalho as Janis Sarkisian.
