Nashville artists unite for urgent tornado relief benefit concert

In a remarkable display of solidarity, a collective of Nashville artists is set to converge at Exit/In on Sunday, December 17th for the “Unplugged For Tennessee” Tornado Relief Benefit Concert. The event, spearheaded by Media Farm Agency, the management team behind the @NashvilleTN Instagram, aims to rally support for the tornado-ravaged Middle Tennessee community.

The lineup for the evening boasts an impressive array of talent, with featured artists including HARDY, Nate Smith, Alana Springsteen, Dylan Marlowe, Chayce Beckham, Abby Anderson, Trey Lewis, Graham Barham, Payton Smith, Jay Allen, and surprise guests. These musicians are lending their voices and support to aid those affected by the devastating tornadoes that claimed six lives and inflicted extensive damage on countless businesses and residences last Saturday.

Country music industry veteran Benji Chord will host the event, ensuring a seamless and heartfelt evening of performances dedicated to healing and rebuilding. Matt Wilson, Founder of Media Farm Agency, expressed gratitude for the rapid response and generosity of the artists who volunteered their time and talent for this urgent cause.

“Nashville always seems to find a way to heal and come together after a tragedy,” Wilson remarked. “And music is a universal part of the healing process in our city. This benefit came together extremely fast, thanks to the help of our team and our great friends that wanted to make a difference in the lives of those impacted by the storm. We are so thankful for the artists who volunteered so quickly to help and donate their time and talent for such a worthy cause.”

Proceeds from the benefit concert will go directly to support disaster response efforts led by Hands On Nashville and The American Red Cross – Tennessee Region. With 100% of net proceeds allocated to these reputable organizations, the event aims to contribute to the ongoing recovery of the affected community.

Matt Wilson emphasized the importance of preparedness in the face of such disasters, stating, “Being prepared is key when something like this happens. So we chose to benefit Hands on Nashville and The American Red Cross, who are leaders in disaster response in Middle Tennessee.”
