Europe have announced their ‘Time Capsule Tour’.
The Swedish rockers will celebrate the 40th anniversary of their self-titled debut album with UK shows in Cardiff, Glasgow, Gateshead, Wolverhampton, Salford, Leicester and London, where they’ll play two dates at the famous Palladium on October 25 and 26.
They’ve also scheduled European gigs in Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Norway, Sweden, France and The Netherlands, with tickets for all dates on general sale at 10am local time on January 27.
Each night will consist of a career retrospective “evening with” performance, including all the hits alongside some deep cuts and fan favourites from all of their 11 studio albums. Vocalist Joey Tempest commented:
“Thanks to you guys out there – we are honoured to still be here today, making records and touring the world. 40 years ago we had that dream and here we are 11 albums later. We look forward to seeing you all in September and October for this very special tour!”
