Nick recently said he wasn’t keen to record ‘The Hardest Thing’ but it’s a good job he was persuaded to because the song was a Top 5 hit in 1999. It’s also become a fan favourite and we can’t imagine 98 Degrees without this song. Sitting in the midtempo sweet spot, ‘The Hardest Thing’ may be of its time but it’s a certified pop smash.
