3. ‘Someone Has To Die'

From Manolo Caro (the brains behind the excellent ‘House of Flowers'), ‘Someone Has To Die' aka ‘Alguien tiene que morir' is a period mini-series set in Spain in the 1950s. It stars Alejandro Speitzer (‘Dark Desire'), Cecilia Suárez (‘House of Flowers') and Ester Expósito (‘Elite') and at only three episodes, it's very easy to binge all in one go (which is exactly what we did).
The story begins when a young man (Speitzer), after being called by his parents, must return from Mexico to his home to meet his fiancée, but the people are surprised when he returns accompanied by Lazaro (Isaac Hernández), a mysterious ballet dancer. Exploring societal issues of the time, the addictive drama features fantastic performances and as you'd expect from Caro, it's incredibly stylish.
