‘Violation’ coming to Shudder in March

The rape revenge horror will debut next month.

Rape revenge horror ‘Violation’ is coming to Shudder on 25th March 2021.

Written and directed by Madeleine Sims-Fewer (‘Operation Avalanche’) and Dusty Mancinelli, ‘Violation’ stars Sims-Fewer, Jesse LaVercombe (‘American Gods’), Anna Maguire (‘The Hummingbird Project’) and Obi Abili (’21 Bridges’).

‘Violation’ is a turbulent feminist revenge fable that explores the idea of trauma within families and untangles a sticky web of resentment as a troubled woman on the edge of divorce embarks on a vicious crusade when her sister and brother-in-law betray her trust. Highly focused on a naturalistic performance style and visual aesthetic, directors Madeleine Sims-Fewer and Dusty Mancinelli’s work explores gender politics, selfishness, and abuse of power, and is cinema at its most provocative.
