3. Benedict Bridgerton’s gay-baiting storyline
Is it just us or did everyone think Benedict (Luke Thompson) was going to end up romantically involved with Sir Henry Granville (Julian Ovenden)? All the signs were there including plenty of mentions about Benedict being ‘himself’. It was a huge disappointment then when the steamy gay scene teased in the trailer didn’t involve Benedict and was in fact a throwaway moment. Instead viewers watched Benedict courting Genevieve Delacroix (Kathryn Drysdale). This storyline had best be picked up in season 2!
