1. Clapboard Jungle
No one is more surprised than us that the best film of the festival was a documentary but when they’re as raw, uncompromising and honest as Justin McConnell’s ‘Clapboard Jungle’, they deserve all the applause. Showing what’s it really like to be an independent film-maker, the documentary really was warts-and-all and it was a fascinating glimpse into the reality of making a film.
