Four veterans of the French Resistance join forces to meet adventure, danger and excitement in The Zoo Gang, released on 3rd June 2019 by Network Distributing, based on Paul Gallico’s best-selling novel.

Following the sighting of the perpetrator of the murder of their fellow resistance fighter, Claude ‘The Wolf’ Roget during the war thirty years previously, they reunite seeking vengeance. By scamming habitual con artists and criminals they look to raise money for a hospital in Claude’s name reluctantly aided in their mission by the son of a French police inspector. Known by their animal alias’s the series stars Brian Keith as ‘The Fox’, John Mills as ‘The Elephant’, Lilli Palmer as ‘The Leopard’ and Barry Morse as ‘The Tiger’.

Set on the French Riviera in Nice the series guest-stars Peter Cushing, Philip Madoc, Jacqueline Pearce, Roger Delgado and appearances from legendary stuntman Vic Armstrong.

Featuring a theme tune from Paul and Linda McCartney all six episodes of The Zoo Gang are complete and uncut having been newly re-mastered in HD from the original 35mm film elements for this brand new Blu-ray edition – it has certainly never looked better!
