Oliver (Stephen Amell) agreed to let a film crew follow Team Arrow for a documentary on the latest episode of Arrow.
A new vigilante called Chimera turned up and started attacking Star City’s vigilantes. Oliver debated Mayor Pollard (Laara Sadiq) about vigilantism but they were interrupted by Chimera.
Dinah (Juliana Harkavy) was forced to reveal her secret identity as the Black Canary, allowing the Mayor to find out the truth about her. Team Arrow tried to help Oliver capture Chimera but they were all arrested by Pollard.
In a surprise turn of events, Pollard hired them all as part of SCPD.
Meanwhile William (Jack Moore) returned from witness protection and revealed to Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) that he’d been expelled from his school.
In the flashforward Blackstar (Katherine McNamara) and Connor (Joseph David-Jones) found Team Arrow’s destroyed bunker thanks to watching the documentary about Oliver.
The next episode of the season is Star City Slayer. Oliver and Felicity are surprised to find out that William is keeping a secret from them. Later, Oliver takes a break from his Green Arrow duties and allows the team to take charge in finding a serial killer.
