With Caden (Billy Howle) in an expensive and exclusive military rehabilitation facility, Max took a trip to Mexico City to meet with representatives of the country’s three main parties about his recent purchase of the national newspapers.

Kathryn (Helen McCrory) stayed by Caden’s side as he was put through his paces at rehab. She pleaded with Max to come home and see his son, which he eventually did but not without calling a big press conference.

Caden was thrust into the spotlight and Max realised that his son would be unable to return to his job at the newspaper. He also realised that Caden isn’t the son he wanted him to be and Kathryn forced him into being honest with their son about his future.
