Yep you read the headline correctly, Square Enix have teamed up with wedding planners Bridal Hearts to offer up Final Fantasy themed weddings. For the time being this is only being launched in Japan and couples will be able to take part in Ceremonies of Eternal Bonding.
The Ceremonies are fully licensed weddings in which the bride and groom can carry weapons and shields from the Final Fantasy 14 game, they will get to cut their Final Fantasy cake all to the background music from the game.
The ceremonies aren’t cheap, but what weddings are? and will set you back around £24,000 for a 70 guest wedding. Obviously, this doesn’t include your flights to Japan if you don’t already live there.
