The wait is almost over for players keen to get their first taste of the highly anticipated Anthem from EA and BioWare. Today (January 25th, 2019) at 5pm GMT sees the launch of the Anthem VIP demo on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. The VIP demo will be available to play until Monday, January 28th at 2am GMT.
To gain access to the Anthem VIP demo, players have several options:
- Pre-order Anthem via Origin, PlayStation Store or Xbox Games Store. Other retailers should give you a code for pre-ordering.
- Subscribe to Origin Access Basic or Premier on PC or EA Access on Xbox One.
- Find a friend who has access as everyone with VIP access is given three friend passes.
Anthem VIP demo codes can be redeemed here. Once redeemed you can pre-load the demo before it goes live so you’re ready to go as soon as the demo goes live. The demo is ~24GB download on console and ~44GB download on PC.

Anthem is a social, connected action-RPG focused on co-operative multiplayer for up to four players. Set on an unfinished world, abandoned by the Gods, players must wear powerful Javelin exosuits to survive. Teaming up they must face the dangerous and ever-changing world through exploration and combat.
The VIP demo is designed to give players a taste of everything the game will have to offer at launch on February 22nd. Players will begin the demo at level 10 and the rewards and economy have been adjusted to allow players to see and do more in the short timeframe.

A second Anthem demo for all players who want to try the game will be available from February 1st-3rd.
