Total War: Three Kingdoms, the 12th main entry in the series, won’t be released until March 7th, 2019 so there’s still a bit of a wait. There are, however, some details out there on what we can expect. One such tidbit being details of the brand new diplomacy system. Two videos have been released with all of the details.

You can check out video 1 below:

The diplomacy system has been re-written from scratch for Total War: Three Kingdoms and gives players more tools and options than ever before to influence other factions within the game. Players can now use tradeable assets as leverage in negotiations including characters, food and even territory. You will also be able to haggle to get the best results or you could threaten war if other factions don’t bow down to your might!

You can check out video 2 below:

Diplomacy is now a much more subtle and powerful tool than in previous Total War outings allowing you to manipulate and broker power across the entire campaign map as you manoeuvre your way to the throne.
