SEGA of America has confirmed the new project from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio during the Summer Game Fest 2025.
During the live showcase the new IP formerly known as “Project Century” will be called ‘Stranger Than Heaven'. In addition, a brand-new teaser trailer offering another glimpse into the game’s world has also been released, which you can see below:
Originally revealed at The Game Awards 2024 ‘Stranger Than Heaven' is a brand-new title from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, the developers behind the acclaimed ‘Yakuza', ‘Like a Dragon' and ‘Virtua Fighter' series.
Not many more details have been released about the game but from the teaser trailer it looks like it's going to be a detective film noir experience with plenty of action and combat. The teaser looks stunning so we can't wait to see more about the game in the coming weeks and months.
