Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) burst back onto our screens last week as the show’s fourth season kicked off.
Having kept herself busy being a hero across the world, Supergirl was tasked with stopping brother and sister Otis (Robert Baker) and Mercy Graves (Rhona Mitra). The duo were attacking aliens and stole an EMP device from the lab of Dr. Vose (Vincent Gale).
Their ultimate plan was to attack President Marsdin’s (Lynda Carter) summit but Supergirl managed to stop them and capture Otis. Mercy escaped and remained at large, and the President was outed as an alien.
Elsewhere Kara took new reporter Nia Nal (Nicole Maines) under her wing after she was sent to CatCo by Cat Grant (Calista Flockhart).
Meanwhile Alex (Chyler Leigh) and Brainy (Jesse Rath) struggled to work together, a telepath that J’onn (David Harewood) worked with was killed by an ‘agent of liberty’ and James (Mehcad Brooks) found out the charges against him were being dropped.
The next episode of the season is Fallout. A shocking revelation causes chaos in National City; Supergirl sets out to capture Mercy Graves, while Alex takes control at the DEO; Kara decides to write an investigative story on Mercy and looks to Lena for information; Brainy meets Nia.
