Britney Spears is marking the 20th anniversary of her debut album …Baby One More Time by releasing it on picture vinyl for the first time.
The album will arrive on 23rd November through Jive/Legacy Recordings. It features the album’s cover on one side and an image of Spears from her early photo shoots on the other side.
The picture disc is available now for pre-order at Amazon.
…Baby One More Time was released on 23rd October 1998. It featured the worldwide smash of the same name along with hits Sometimes, (You Drive Me) Crazy, Born to Make You Happy and From the Bottom of My Broken Heart. Talking to The Guardian recently, Spears talked about her debut single saying, āThe whole song is about that stress that we all go through as teens. I knew it was a great song. It was different and I loved it, (but) I donāt think you can anticipate how a song is going to be received.ā
The single …Baby One More Time was written by Max Martin and produced by Martin and Rami. It topped the charts in 19 countries and the album sold more than 25 million copies around the world.
News of the vinyl release comes as Spears has just announced that she’s launching a new Las Vegas residency. Her new show Britney: Domination will arrive in 2019.
