The Overtones will release their sixth studio album in October

The Overtones are returning to the charts with the release of their sixth studio album.

The self-titled release will arrive on 19th October 2018 and it’s the first new music from the band since the tragic passing of member Timmy Matley earlier this year. The first single from the album is a cover of Barry White’s You To Me Are Everything, which is available to stream and for fans who pre-order the album.

The group says, ā€œWe are really proud of the new album and all it represents. Yes there are obviously songs for reflection and even sadness but there are also songs to put a smile on your face and get you up dancing. Thereā€™s a big mix of feelings and moods in this album which was certainly a challenge to express but weā€™re so proud of what weā€™ve achieved. This album means the world to us and we want it to mean something to the listener too.ā€

The Overtones – Lockie Chapman, Mike Crawshaw, Darren Everest and Mark Franks – will embark on a 22-date UK tour kicking off on 22nd November 2018 at Watford Colosseum. It will end on 20th December 2018 at London’s Indigo at The O2.

Tickets for the tour go on general sale on Friday 24th August at 10am from gigsandtours.com with VIP packages from sjm-vip.com.
