The Nun, the latest film in The Conjuring Universe, has unveiled a chilling new poster.
Featuring lead star Taissa Farmiga’s (American Horror Story) face combined with that of the scary titular character, the poster teases the darkest instalment in the series yet.
When a young nun at a cloistered abbey in Romania takes her own life, a priest with a haunted past and a novitiate on the threshold of her final vows are sent by the Vatican to investigate. Together they uncover the orderās unholy secret. Risking not only their lives but their faith and their very souls, they confront a malevolent force in the form of the same demonic nun that first terrorised audiences in āThe Conjuring 2,ā as the abbey becomes a horrific battleground between the living and the damned.
The Nun is directed by Corin Hardy and also stars Demian Bichir (A Better Life), Jonas Bloquet (Elle), Charlotte Hope (Game of Thrones), Ingrid Bisu (Toni Erdmann) and Bonnie Aarons, reprising her The Conjuring 2 role as The Nun.
The film features a screenplay by Gary Dauberman (It) from a story by James Wan and Gary Dauberman. Richard Brener, Walter Hamada, Dave Neustadter, Gary Dauberman, Michael Clear and Todd Williams are the executive producers.
The Nun will arrive in UK cinemas on 7th September 2018.
