Sicario 2: Soldado is due to arrive in cinemas later this month and to whet your appetite a new clip has been unveiled.
Titled The Prize, the clip shows a young girl being targeted for abduction. As she gets into a car, she’s followed and an explosion stops the vehicle she’s in from escaping.

In Sicario 2: Soldado, the drug war on the US ā Mexico border has escalated as the cartels have begun trafficking terrorists across the US border. To fight the war, federal agent Matt Graver (Josh Brolin) reteams with the mercurial Alejandro (Benicio Del Toro).
The film also stars Isabela Moner, Jeffrey Donovan, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo and Catherine Keener. It is directed by Stefano Sollima and written by Taylor Sheridan, who wrote the first movie.

Sicario 2: Soldado is the follow-up to 2015’s Sicario, which took over $85 million at the global box office. Emily Blunt is not reprising her role as Kate Macer from the original movie.
The original movie was directed by Denis Villeneuve. It told the story of an idealistic FBI agent who was enlisted by a government task force to aid in the escalating war against drugs at the border area between the U.S. and Mexico.
Sicario 2: Soldado opens in UK cinemas on 29th June 2018.
