Ocean’s 8 has debuted a new ‘Moments Worth Paying For’ trailer that highlights some new footage from the upcoming movie, which opens in cinemas on 18th June 2018.
Presented by the all-star cast, this exclusive trailer forms part of the Industry Trust’s Moments Worth Paying For campaign, which has been backed by many big movies in the past.
The trailer has been made to combat the rise in film piracy, so the Ocean’s 8 cast discuss the pros and ‘cons’ (see what they did there!) of the movie-going experience.
Promoting the virtues of seeing Ocean’s 8 in a cinema with a big screen, immersive sound, and all of the classic movie-going tropes, the trailer sees the Ocean’s 8 team create a plan, proving that every ‘con’ has its pros.
The Industry Trust’s consumer education campaign wants to urge audiences to continue to choose the big screen experience for their movie viewing needs. The trailer also directs audiences to the film search engine FindAnyFilm.com, a great industry-funded resource which highlights where movies are playing close to you.

The all-star ensemble heist film features an incredible line-up of talent – Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Awkwafina, Sarah Paulson, Rihanna and Helena Bonham Carter.
The film finds Debbie Ocean (Sandra Bullock) devising the biggest heist of her career – taking 5 years, 8 months, 12 days and counting. She realises that she will need to assemble a team to get the job done, a group pf professionals who are the best in their field. She begins with her partner-in-crime Lou Miller (Cate Blanchett).
Together, they start to recruit a new crew of specialists who can aid with the heist. They bring aboard jeweller Amita (Mindy Kaling), a street con-artist named Constance (Awkwafina), an expert fence by the name of Tammy (Sarah Paulson), master hacker Nine Ball (Rihanna), and a fashion designer named Rose (Helena Bonham Carter).
Their collective target is $150 million dollars worth of diamonds. The only trouble is, they will be worn around the neck of the world-famous actress Daphne Kluger (played by Anne Hathaway). Kluger will be the main attraction at the world famous Met Gala which will be the perfect time to try and execute the theft.
Debbie Ocean’s plan is as solid as can be, but everything will need to run smoothly if the team are going to get their pay-day to work.
Be sure to check out Ocean’s 8 in cinemas from 18th June to find out if they do pull off the heist!
