The trailer and key art has been released for ‘The Idea Of You‘, the forthcoming Prime Video film from director Michael Showalter.
The film stars Anne Hathaway, Nicholas Galitzine, Ella Rubin, Annie Mumolo, Reid Scott, Perry Mattfeld, Jordan Aaron Hall, Mathilda Gianopoulos, Raymond Cham Jr., Jaiden Anthony, Viktor White and Dakota Adan. Watch the trailer at the top of this article and see the key art below:
‘The Idea Of You’ is based on the book by Robinne Lee, and it has a screenplay by Showalter and Jennifer Westfeldt. The film centres on Solène (Anne Hathaway), a 40-year-old single mum who begins an unexpected romance with 24-year-old Hayes Campbell (Nicholas Galitzine), the lead singer of August Moon, the hottest boy band on the planet. When Solène must step in to chaperone her teenage daughter’s trip to the Coachella Music Festival after her ex bails at the last minute, she has a chance encounter with Hayes and there is an instant, undeniable spark.
As they begin a whirlwind romance, it isn’t long before Hayes’ superstar status poses unavoidable challenges to their relationship, and Solène soon discovers that life in the glare of his spotlight might be more than she bargained for.
The soundtrack to the film will be released on 2nd May 2024 through Arista Records and the first single, ‘Dance Before We Walk’, the film’s band August Moon is out now. Watch the lyric video below:
‘The Idea Of You’ is released on Prime Video on 2nd May 2024 and will premiere at SXSW Festival on 16th March.
