All Points East shares Friday festival playlist 2018

Get ready for the first ever APE festival in London.

All Points East Festival

All Points East Festival will open its doors for the very first time next week in London. The festival, which will take place between 25th May and 3rd June in Tower Hamlets, London has revealed one of the best line-ups of this summer with headline acts including Bjork, LCD Soundsystem and The XX plus Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Beck, Flying Lotus and more.

The brand new festival kicks off this May bank holiday weekend with a diverse choice of acts and of some of the coolest names in music. Following the opening weekend, a 4-day community focused midweek event will give the park back to the local area with an entertainment programme of comedy, food, outdoor cinema and more to reflect the of its surrounding area. The event culminates in three huge APE Presents… headline shows with Catfish and the Bottlemen, The National and Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.

This year festival-goers will be able to see the collaboration between James Murphy (LCD Soundsystem, DFA Records) and David and Stephen Dewaele (Soulwax, 2manydjs), Despacio is a bespoke soundsystem that will envelope the crowd in amazing sound for a vinyl only experience like no other. The trio will be behind the decks for all three days of the festival for a UK festival exclusive.
