Grey’s Anatomy 14×20 Judgement Day preview

ICE (Immigrations and Customs Enforcement) arrived at Grey Sloan Memorial looking for one of the interns on the latest episode of Grey’s Anatomy.

Bailey (Chandra Wilson) was caught off-guard by their arrival and it transpired that Sam Bello (Jeanine Mason) was the intern they were after. Sam revealed that she was a ‘dreamer’ protected under DACA but a driving violation meant that she was going to be deported.

Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and DeLuca (Giacomo Gianniotti) worked together to avoid Sam being deported while Bailey distracted the ICE agent, who turned out to suffering from health woes he knew nothing about. It was Meredith who came up with a solution by organising Sam to go to Zurich and work for Cristina (Sandra Oh).

Meanwhile Alex (Justin Chambers) refused to give up on his young patient after Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) wouldn’t change her mind about using her experimental treatment. Jo (Camilla Luddington) discharged the girl from the hospital so she could follow her dreams while she still could.

Elsewhere Richard (James Pickens Jr.) said goodbye to Ollie (Mary Kay Place), Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) and Carina (Stefania Spampinato) moved forward with their research, and April (Sarah Drew) was shocked when Matthew (Justin Bruening) returned to the hospital with his baby.

Also Jackson (Jesse Williams) threw the hospital into trouble when he released a researcher from an agreement with the Harper Avery Foundation.

The next episode of the season is Judgement Day. During presentations at the Innovation Prototypes Day, Arizona shares some cookies that, unbeknown to her, contain a special ingredient.
