The murder of Jerry Jawal (Andrew Guilarte), a member of the Nash Syndicate, opened up a shocking case on the latest episode of The Blacklist.

Samar (Mozhan Marno) discovered that Jerry’s murder was the latest in a long line of men who had been targeted after marrying child brides. Jerry’s young wife had contacted Anna-Gracia Duerte (Jearnest Corchado), a young girl who was carrying out the murders.

Tracking Anna-Gracia down before she killed her next target, Samar discovered that the young girl had been raped and forced into marrying her rapist by her parents so she didn’t bring shame on the family. After questioning, Samar managed to get the charges against her lowered so she wouldn’t be locked up in an adult prison.

Meanwhile the case gave Reddington (James Spader) leverage over Ian Garvey (Jonny Coyne) when he located a ledger that Anna-Gracia had stolen from Jerry and discarded.

Elsewhere Liz (Megan Boone) found out the truth about Red’s involvement with Garvey and the witness that went missing, and Aram (Amir Arison) was disappointed when he gave Samar a ring and she didn’t ask what it was for.

The next episode of the season is Zarak Mosadek. Red and the gang track down one of the Nash Syndicate’s biggest suppliers. Unable to trust her dad, Liz goes after Garvey in her own way.
