Olivia (Kerry Washington) continued to try and repair her reputation as she took on a case to help a man find his missing daughter on the latest episode of Scandal.
The girl, who idolised Olivia, worked as a congressional intern and it turned out she’d killed herself after finding herself on a sex list. She’d been blacklisted for jobs after refusing to sleep with her boss and due to her lack of opportunities, she killed herself.
Olivia was the target of the girl’s father’s anger as he blamed her for setting the example that sleeping your way to the top was acceptable. Desperate to prove him wrong, Olivia organised a press conference with the victim’s room-mate who came clean about the congressman and admitted she had opportunities because she slept with him.
Mellie (Bellamy Young) decided to introduce legislation to try and stop sexual harrassment in the workplace following Olivia’s case.
Meanwhile QPA looked into who hijacked the plane and all signs pointed to Charlie (George Newbern). He protested his innocence but was arrested by the FBI.
Elsewhere Mellie turned down advances from Jake (Scott Foley) creating an awkward situation between the two.
The next episode of the season is The Noise. When Charlie is taken into custody for the hijacking of Air Force Two, Quinn is faced with an important choice.
