Gasoline & Matches release new single If You Wanna Stay

Gasoline & Matches have released new single If You Wanna Stay this week.

The UK duo have worked once again with producer Gavin Monaghan and the new single showcases their versatility. If You Wanna Stay is the follow-up to Fool’s Gold, which topped the UK iTunes Country Chart upon its release.

Talking about the track Sally Rea Morris says, ā€˜I think we forget to tell people what we are really feeling and often that miscommunication leaves simple things unsaid and stories incomplete. If You Wanna Stay is about those unspoken words. The music has a slightly 80ā€™s vibe and shows another side to our writing style.’

Gasoline & Matches already have a headline performance at The Hard Rock London and a five date Californian tour under their belt. Lyric Magazine highlighted the duo in their Artists to Watch feature for 2018.

Last year Gasoline & Matches performed at Buckle & Boots and FSA Fest in the UK. They received a nomination for Duo of the Year at the 2017 British CMA Awards alongside The Shires and Ward Thomas.

Their sound has been compared to Fleetwood Mac, Brad Paisley and Aimee Mann, which is quite a high compliment for the emerging duo.
