Liz (Megan Boone) and Reddington (James Spader) hunted a Blacklister who had abducted a young boy on the latest episode of The Blacklist.

Nirah Ahmad (Poorna Jagannathan) committed despicable acts in a bid to raise money so that her ill son could have the surgery he needed to save his life. Once she had enough money, Nirah kidnapped her son from his foster parents but she was stopped by Liz and Red.

Red convinced Nirah to kill herself so they could use her heart to save her son, something she agreed to.

Liz’s part in the operation caused concern for Harold (Harry Lennix) who questioned where her loyalties lay.

Meanwhile Red unveiled a post office scam that could help him rebuild his business and earn a lot of money.

Elsewhere Tom (Ryan Eggold) had to steal Liz’s ID in order to try and identify the bones in the suitcase. The guy working on the identification mysteriously disappeared and Nik (Piter Marek), who was roped into helping Red with Nirah’s son, was murdered when he went to investigate. Whoever murdered him also stole the suitcase with the bones in.

The next episode of the season is Ilyas Surkov. The taskforce clash with a rival unit as a bombing sets them on the trail of a terrorist. Nik’s murder prompts Tom to go undercover.
