The Tunnel finally returns to UK screens next week (December 14th) for a third and final season titled Vengeance. It will reunite the Anglo-French detectives DCI Karl Roebuck (Stephen Dillane) and Commander Elise Wassermann (Clémence Poésy).
Alongside Karl and Elise, other characters set to return include Laura Roebuck (Angel Coulby), BB (William Ash), Olivier (Thibault de Montalembert) and Philippe (Cédric Vieira). We’re still hoping that Eryka Klein (Laura de Boer) will also feature but so far this has not being confirmed.
Here’s the official synopsis of The Tunnel: Vengeance 3×01:
The third and final chapter of the gripping Sky Original Production. A burning fishing boat found on the Channel turns into a new case for Karl and Elise.
EF Television will be bringing you episode preview and recaps each week. Let us know your hopes for the final season in the comments below.
Tune in to Sky Atlantic at 9pm Thursday, 14th December, 2017 to see the first episode. All six parts of The Tunnel: Vengeance will also be available to binge watch via Sky Box Sets. We expect the rest of the world will have to wait until 2018 to watch the season.
